Welcome to Mohammed Bin Rashid City
Mohammed Bin Rashid City is Dubai’s luxury urban oasis, and is one of the largest mixed-use developments in the UAE. This city within a city offers high-end residential communities, vibrant commercial hubs, and the world’s largest man-made lagoon, as well as various eateries, entertainment centres and retail shops. With many more futuristic developments coming up, MBR City has proven to be a community with a bustling environment in an ultra-modern setting that is divided into several districts such as Sobha Hartland, a premium residential community.
The area was established in 2012 as a hub for family-centric living, envisioned by the Emirate’s ruler as a city for the future, offering residential and commercial spaces, integrated with hubs for tourism, education, and sports. The project involved USD 8.2Bn worth of investments, according to estimates.

MBR City is being developed into the green heart of Dubai with community parks and freshwater lagoons with picturesque views of the iconic Dubai skyline! The district houses the Meydan Racecourse, which has been home to the famous horse race, the Dubai World Cup, since 2010, in addition to other developments such as Dubai Hills Estate and Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

Despite the many activities that take place in the area, MBR City retains a strong sense of community. Communal parks and family-friendly events and festivals offer plenty of opportunities for socializing. The neighborhood’s design also promotes safety and convenience, with many schools, healthcare facilities, and retail options within the vicinity!

Shop till you drop, soon in Meydan One Mall
MBR City is set to be the home of Meydan One Mall, slated to be one of the largest shopping centers in the world, adding to the area’s already impressive development. Expected to be fully operational in the near future, Meydan One is set to join the ranks of Dubai’s premier malls with over 600 retail stores, including stores for high-end luxury brands, and over 100 diverse food outlets. According to the official website, it will also feature a 1km ski slope and winter village, a 21-screen cinema, several gaming zones, a hotel resort, and a medical centre.

Plans are also underway to establish a leisure center, in partnership with Universal Studios, that will be directly connected to the mall. Until the completion of Meydan One Mall, residents of MBR City can access other popular shopping destinations such as the Dubai Mall, Mercato Shopping Mall, and Mall of the Emirates, each located approximately 14 to 17 minutes away from the neighborhood
Fitness junkies, unite!
Keeping up with an active lifestyle in MBR City is an easy feat because it’s the best place to be! Several parks, an 8.4-km cycling and jogging track, sports facilities horse-riding trails, and more offered in one place. Residents can enjoy also a variety of water activities at the world’s largest man-made lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, located in District One or experience the thrill of horse racing at the Meydan Racecourse.
In close proximity, residents can head to their favorite gym and lifestyle destinations in surrounding areas like Downtown Dubai and Business Bay.

The community continues to expand at a rapid rate and is on the fast track to becoming one of the Top 5 neighborhoods in Dubai with a number of initiatives and projects slated for completion in the next few years!
