Say hello to Palm Jumeirah

The Palm Jumeirah, home to nearly 20 hotels and resorts and over 4,000 luxury apartments, is a self-declared eighth wonder of the world. True to its name, the largest man-made palm tree shaped island took 6 years to build, with 17 fronds each housing numerous villas, low-rise buildings, and private beaches. Fun fact — the Palm is split in such a way that residences are located on its fronds, its trunk has apartments, and world-famous hotels line its crescent! Perfect for singles and families, the Palm is easily accessible externally by metro or tram and internally through its very own 5-station monorail stretching from the gateway to the tip.

The lifestyle

Residents of Palm Jumeirah enjoy a laid-back and serene atmosphere, with easy access to some of the city’s best attractions and entertainment spots. The area is well-connected to other parts of Dubai, making it an ideal place for those who want to experience the city’s vibrant energy while enjoying the comforts of a tranquil and exclusive neighborhood.

Albeit popular for its views of the Dubai coastline, the expansive range of fun activities, the many high to mid-range F&B outlets as well as retail destinations like the Nakheel Mall and The Pointe, have elevated the island experience for residents and tourists as they get to experience city-like living on an island with unmissable sights.

What is a waterfront neighborhood without beach access? Each of the villas along the fronds has their own private beach. Other than that, it is also home to some of the popular private beaches in Dubai attached to luxury hotels and resortThe closest beach is JBR’s The Beach, offering a wide variety of restaurants with outdoor seatings, clubs, a cinema, and more. Another nearby beach would be Jumeirah, a 30-minute drive from the marina.
